About CIS
Reginald H. Norberg founded Computer Investigative Services in 2001 after retiring from a twenty-eight year career in federal law enforcement. During the latter part of his career, he received extensive training and experience in obtaining, preserving, and presenting computer related evidence. His duties included participating in the execution of search warrants where his responsibility was to identify, seize, document, and recover computer evidence. As a result, he gained experience dealing with many different types of computer hardware and software technologies, including networks and servers.
In addition to his computer related training and experience, Mr. Norberg spent much of his law enforcement career assisting the U.S. Attorney’s office in investigating and prosecuting complex financial crimes. As a result, he testified numerous times before federal grand juries and also during trials in federal district court. Mr. Norberg is a licensed private investigator in the State of Washington. He is a member of the International Association of Computer Investigative Specialists, the High Technology Crime Investigation Association, and the Federal Criminal Investigators Association.
